FXWebSuite is an online service that allows web designers create and maintain web sites by ensuring that everything is in order, accessible, standards compliant1, and optimized for search engines1.
The way that FXWebSuite works is easy. You tell us your URL and optionally configure a few parameters, and FXWebSuite will regularly go through your web site and give you detailed reports of what we found.
So what are some of the things that we look for? Here is a sample of the things that FXWebSuite will:
- Find broken links: If you have any broken links on your web site, FXWebSuite will find them. FXWebSuite will look for links in your HTML, CSS, RSS, Atom, OPML, PDF, text files, and more. Plus, if you remove a link from your site, FXWebSuite will check that URL see what your customers experience if they have a bookmark to that page.
- Who am I linking to: Sometimes that news article that made you look great expires after several months and is now pointing to information about your competitors. Keeping an eye on these links is key to maintaining your customer’s confidence and FXWebSuite does most of this for you by keeping on eyes open for changes.
- Check for standards compliance1: Although FXWebSuite does not verify all standards, we currently do some validation of your HTML, CSS, RSS, Atom, and OPML files and it is our plan to add more Standard Compliance checks in the near future. Complying to web standards helps your web site get recognized by search engines which helps users find your site and experience your web site in a consistent way no matter which browser they use. FXWebSuite will give you the insight you need to ensure your web site is usable to both search engines and users alike.
- Check for efficient search engine optimizations1: FXWebSuite currently does some verification for command SEO mistakes. We will continue to add more validation in this area.
- Verify your robots: We will take a look at your robots.txt file and ensure that it adheres to the standards and mention anything that seems funky.
